A KITCHEN FOR EVERY STYLE AND SPACE

If you're thinking about having a new kitchen, whether it's to replace an existing design or for a renovation or extension project, we can create the perfect scheme to suit you and your space.

In our latest blog, we look at how our bespoke service will not only manage the whole process but will also give you the look and feel you always dreamed of.

Some kitchen companies have a signature look, and many of the website's portfolio sections tend to blend into one.

Here at Ridgeway Interiors, however, we do things differently.

We're customer-led, and we know that all our past, present and future customers are unique. That's why we design kitchens in any style, colour and layout you want. Whether you're dreaming of a farmhouse-style kitchen, something dark and bold, or something more minimalistic or Scandinavian, we offer everything from classic cabinetry to modern or handleless styles in various colours and finishes.

You may want something that complements your property or a design that adds contrast. Maybe you want to introduce the character to a modern new build or a juxtaposing contemporary space for a period home extension. There are no boundaries when you choose us to design your kitchen, and for a stress-free, seamless journey, we manage the whole process so you don't have to.

Here are just some examples of previous projects that show the scope of what we can do for you…

Two-Tone Shaker Style

If you're a fan of subtle colours, why not have a two-tone design that features similar shades or contrasting colours for maximum impact? We can customise your cabinetry with any colour you want. In this Shaker scheme, we used Mylands' London palette for a neutral and calming design in soft whites and greens.

The cabinetry is devoid of beads or bevels, which gives it a modern feel, while quartz worksurfaces are clean and crisp, hardwearing, and durable. A large island is great for cooking, storage, and dining, while the oversized dresser allows the owners to display glassware and crockery easily.

Bespoke Traditional Design

With our fully bespoke service, there really are no limits to what you can have. We take time to discuss your culinary needs and lifestyle, ensuring you have customised storage and a kitchen designed around any awkward shapes and spaces. In this traditional scheme, which features curved worksurfaces and cabinetry for an ergonomic flow, we included a bespoke pantry that helps keep surfaces clutter-free with its mix of open and closed storage. We also added a breakfast cupboard with pocket doors and a bespoke utility room in contrasting colours.

Dark and Dramatic Scheme

One of the latest trends is for a dark and dramatic kitchen, blending an ultra-luxurious look with a cosy, gastro-pub-like feel. In this scheme, we combined sleek black Nobilia handleless cabinetry with state-of-the-art Siemens appliances, Dekton worksurfaces, a central island with hob and seating and open wooden shelving to add a natural, organic touch. We also included plenty of ambient lighting to enhance the warm and welcoming vibe to create a space that feels like an exclusive member’s club or restaurant in the heart of the home.

Timeless Elegance With a Minimal Feel

When visualising a minimal kitchen, it's often a modern design that comes to mind. But you can have a classic feel with simple in-frame cabinet doors in a warm white finish teamed with built-in appliances and sleek quartz worksurfaces. Plenty of storage also helps, which is why in this space we included lots of customised storage concealed behind cabinet doors and drawers. We also added an open wooden shelf for displaying potted plants and fresh herbs and ensured the space was ultra-practical with a Quooker boiling water tap. As well as being energy efficient, quick and convenient for hot drinks and cooking, it also removes the need for a kettle, keeping surfaces clutter-free.

Sleek and Handleless for City Living

If you have a small kitchen, a basement kitchen or an open-plan studio, we can make the most of every inch with sleek and seamless handleless cabinetry. Storage can be taken right up to the ceiling, an extractor hob does away with the need for a bulky hood that obscures sightlines while clever lighting enhances a feeling of warmth.
