Green & Walnut Contemporary Shaker Kitchen in Dorchester
After spending some time renovating their upside-down home in Dorchester, our clients were ready for the final room: their kitchen, and it was truly worth the wait.

This contemporary Shaker kitchen brings together olive-green cabinetry, warm walnut finishes and thoughtful details to create a space that feels entirely their own.
With a clear vision and a lovely eye for interiors, they worked with Harriet to bring together Häcker systemat cabinetry, combining custom olive-green Shaker-style wall units with a handleless island in reeded walnut veneer for a modern touch.
Richly veined Dekton Laurent worktops with waterfall ends complement the design, while patinated brass details, including Hendel & Hendel Hoxa handles, add warmth. A bespoke reeded glass cabinet makes beautiful use of the pitched ceiling.
Siemens appliances and a Quooker Fusion Round tap complete the kitchen, combining everyday practicality with the carefully considered design. Behind the pocket door sits a much-loved pantry, and French bulldog Winnie has her own little space too.
Installing a kitchen on the second floor brought some challenges, particularly getting the worktops into place. Working closely with our clients and their builder, our team carefully coordinated the installation to bring Harriet’s design to life.
The result is a kitchen that combines thoughtful details and distinctive materials to create a space that feels entirely their own.
